hiding my sadness away,
I began thinking about the past
and the sweet sweet memories of it...
no words can describe how wonderous it was -
it was my past.
the more i want the memory to linger,
the further it drifts
it's now too distant away from me,
something i cannot grasp anymore -
it was my past
but,
determined to let you see that smile
i'll continue living each day
as if nothing has changed
though it hurts a whole lot
but i'll wait patiently for
the time to come
when it will hurt a little lesser
and wait even more
for it to stop hurting
all these
for the smile you wanted to see
